Detailed Experiences by Restaurant

World Café

This restaurant has the best views, though it’s regrettable that it’s primarily a buffet setup—a drawback for those not keen on buffets, like us. However, fear not, as it’s just what you need for a satisfying breakfast. While servers are on hand to take your drink orders, the buffet setup allows for quick and easy grab-and-go options. On days when the weather isn’t cooperating, opt for indoor seating, but when the sun shines, bask in the charming outdoor ambiance reminiscent of European cafes. You’re sure to relish the experience, whether inside or out.

Takeaway: World Cafe and Coco Cafe are the only options open before 8 am, so for early risers this is your primary option for a full meal. It does its job, but I would not recommend this for lunch or dinner dining.

Portofino

This is your date night spot. The ambiance is perfect for a romantic date night or an upscale dining experience. With indoor seating exuding an elegant white tablecloth vibe, this spot sets the stage for a memorable evening. Indulge in the Cabernet option for a delightful wine pairing, and save room for dessert—the apple pie is a must-try. From the popular mushroom risotto to a good array of pizza options, the menu is solid and the wine was good. Our food came quickly, so it’s not a huge time commitment.

Takeaway: Your best bet for a date night or a nice meal on the property.

Oceana

This restaurant is positioned right beside the adults-only pool, offering a quiet environment as opposed to the Seaside Grill, which is right next to the larger pool where most entertainment activities are held. They have kid’s menu items, including fish and chips and chicken skewers. This restaurant is only open for dinner. Choose this location over Portofino for dinner if you want seafood and a more relaxed setting.

Takeaway: A good backup dinner option if you’re craving fish.

Seaside Grill

This breakfast and lunch eatery sits in a beautiful outdoor location right near the activity of the main pool. It’s central to the resort, so it’s the easiest to get to if you’re having a pool day. We never needed to fight for a table. You can’t go wrong with the quesadillas, but there are a lot of nice options and the service was attentive.

Takeaway: Good option when enjoying a resort day outside.

Barefoot Grill

You can’t get much more quintessential Cabo than a beach bar like this one. I wouldn’t necessarily come here for the food, but you can get some bar-type food, like hot dogs and hamburgers, if you are hungry. You can tell from the setting it’s not your culinary experience. It’s where you can have a cocktail with your toes in the sand, swinging on the rope swings. AMAZING, and always seemed to be buzzing with resort guests.

Takeaway: Mainly come here for the drinks and toes in the sand.

Coco Café

This café may be simple, but it’s our go-to spot for a few reasons. Firstly, it’s open 24/7, which means no long lines (we never had a long line) when you need your caffeine fix. There’s something special about grabbing your coffee or chai tea and heading out for a morning beach stroll. Plus, if you’re hungry for something quick like a sandwich but don’t feel like sitting down to eat at a restaurant, this café has you covered. And let’s not forget their sweet treats! They’ve got a few options, including ice cream that the kids will love.

Takeaway: A good basic cafe and grab-and-go offering for the property.

Bar Options

The bar options complement the Dreams Los Cabos restaurant venues and are spread from the lobby to poolside to late-night.

Rendezvous

Positioned near the lobby and your first place to snag a drink. It’s open-air and a good spot near the live entertainment by the pool in the evenings.

Manatees & Sugar Reef

Each pool has a swim-up bar. From beer to wine to basic or frozen cocktails (ask for a Miami Vice!), you’ll be set at whichever pool you visit. Servers also circle the poolside offering food and drinks brought directly to you. It’s a resort expectation these days, but it’s lovely.

Desires

This late-night bar is open until 1 am every day of the week. It’s always the weekend in Cabo, right? We didn’t check this out ourselves, but I’m sure it’s everything you need a late-night music lounge to be, with a name like Desires.

Room Service

Indulge in the convenience of 24-hour in-room dining at Dreams Los Cabos! Whether you’re craving a late-night snack or breakfast/lunch/dinner delivered straight to your door, the room service options and staff at Dreams Los Cabos have you covered.

Ordering Process: Using the user-friendly app, you can place your order for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even a late-night bite, any time of day or night. Delivery typically takes 45-60 minutes.

Menu Variety: From comforting tortilla soup to indulgent fettuccine pasta, the room service menu offers diverse options. Enjoy classic favorites like a juicy burger or a hearty club sandwich, or opt for something more sophisticated like the flavorful flank steak. (Please note that menu items may be subject to change.)

Customization Options: Got allergies or special requests? The app allows you to specify any dietary restrictions or preferences in the comments section when placing your order.

Convenient Tray Pickup: When you’re finished dining, use the app to request tray pickup, and the team will promptly collect it from your room. It’s that easy!

Enjoy the comfort of dining in the privacy of your room. Bon appétit!

FAQ

Are reservations needed?

No. We liked this, and never had an issue being seated. If it is a special occasion, checking with the concierge never hurts!

What dietary restrictions do they accommodate?

The resort is well-versed in catering to various dietary needs, ensuring everyone dines worry-free. Every meal before being seated, you will be asked if there are any dining restrictions.

What are the all-inclusive benefits?

Unlimited drinks and food. We did not incur any additional fees on our trip. Unsurprisingly, if you want to take a whole bottle of alcohol with you, that will be a charge (this was the only thing they mentioned at check-in).
